The exhibitor geography has also expanded, involving companies from 11 countries. This year CERAMATECH was held under the support and close partnership with the European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS).
For the 5th year in a row, the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus organized a collective stand of Belarusian manufacturers. Russian consumers had an opportunity to become familiar with a wide range of high-quality constriction materials and services offered by Belorussian companies.
Keeping up with the times, "Construction Materials"exhibition always solves diverse tasks, promoting cooperation among major market players and fruitful discussion of the industry’s topical issues during the business programme. By participating in the numerous events of the exhibition’s programme, the representatives of the construction industry, science, engineering, and government agencies had a chance to work together and find practical solutions for the domestic construction industry modernization.
On the first exhibition day the National Partnership of Construction Materials Manufacturers held a working meeting. During the discussion, the heads of industry associations decided to increase the participation of associations and unions in the “Construction Materials” exhibition to bring together more leading players of the Russian building materials market and, thereby, contribute to its progressive development.
One of the most popular events of the exhibition’s business programme was the Conference “Modern energy efficient wall ceramics manufacturing companies” organized by the Association of Ceramic Wall Materials Manufacturers jointly with European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS).
The Conference speakers covered the most pressing industry’s issues. During the conference, delegates got the comprehensive information on the status and prospects of the ceramic bricks market in Russia and the CIS countries, the latest production technologies, the basic principles of European energy efficient equipment application in Russian enterprises, as well as new methods of using different construction materials.
The Conference was opened by Dries van Hapert, the ECTS Chairman. “Russian market is very important for the European suppliers of ceramic products and equipment, and the Conference is undoubtedly a big step towards the fruitful cooperation ”, he said.
